Having never ridden a motorcycle, William Shears traveled to Vietnam to begin a roughly 1,200-mile motorbike adventure from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh.  He bought a second hand 110cc Honda he called Black Rose and set off on the Ho Chi Minh Highway with a camera to capture the journey. Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent, better known as Ants, is a travel writer, TV producer and world traveler. In her latest book, A Short Ride in the Jungle – The Ho Chi Minh Trail by Motorcycle, she tells the story of her 6 week, 2,000 mile journey from Hanoi to Saigon on a 25-year-old Honda Cub motorbike named the Pink Panther. She followed the trail through Laos and Cambodia dodging unexploded ordinance from the Vietnam war and witnessing illegal logging in the forests of Laos. During her trip, she raised funds for Mines Advisory Group, an organization that helps remove mines and other weapons from countries around the world.
